GESU SCHOOL
GESU School, North Philadelphia's non-profit grade school for underprivileged children
needed help driving donations. By taking a unique approach that celebrated the giver
as an integral role in the school's mission, we created an emotional connection
that raised donations by 50%.
4ALL BY JOFIT
4All by Jofit, a women's-only athletic apparel company, needed help creating a strong
brand identity to compete with the likes of Nike, Under Armour, and Lululemon Athletica.
The new branding elements capture the energy, spirit, and ambition of the company
in ways that both honors and defines them.
EIGHT DAYS LATER
Eight Days Later, an intense fintess program that offers immediate results, was
looking for a way to introduce their new program/brand. We created a provocative
website that would attract high-end clientele that is athletically focused.
SEAVIEW SCUBA
Seaview Scuba, a full service dive center featuring premier scuba and snorkeling
equipment and certification courses, wanted to set themselves apart from the surrounding
dive shops and generate awareness of their self-sponsored dive trips. Through playful
messaging and photography, we capture the spirit of diving that invites all ages
and skill levels to explore.
THE INNOVATION HUB
Backe partnered with Innovation Project Group in developing the Florida Gulf Coast
University Innovation Hub, a proposed think tank for the exploration of renewable
energy initiatives. Along with website development and strategic planning for the
I-Hub, Backe also designed an introductory sales brochure.
M. COHEN & SONS
M. Cohen & Sons, specialists of high-end architectural and artistic custom metal
work, sought a digital strategy, interactive design and sales material design that
matched their hallmarks of ingenuity and beauty. We created the Make Your Statement
campaign that focused on their product imagery to sell their services.
PENN PRESBYTERIAN
Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia’s leader in heart health innovation, wanted
to take advantage of a lobby wall in its new building to showcase the hospital’s
pioneering achievements and technological advancements. After reviewing historic
documents and photography from the UPenn archives, we developed a 3D thirty-five
foot long timeline that pays tribute to its founders and physicians who have made it
one of the world’s best.
GUADALUPE CENTER OF IMMOKALEE
The Guadalupe Center of Immokalee, a center serving the disadvantaged poor of Immokalee,
Florida, wanted to promote its programs for underprivileged children. This year,
they wanted to focus on donation to the thrift shop. We created a mailer and ad
campaign that featured used items and what they could mean to the kids.
